Excerpt from 'A Planetary Saga'
Frank Howard

In the time before creation
Of this planet and its heavens
Worlds were following their orbits,
Some evolving, ever changing,
With their varied nature ranging
From the lowly to the great.
"In my house are many mansions,"
Saith the Father of Creation,
"Also many faithful servants
Thinking always of another.
There to help a younger brother
Up to the Celestial State."

All that is is of the Father.
All is substance of His Being,
Every life a spark within Him,
Ever growing and maturing,
Often suffering, enduring,
Often blind as to the cause.
As the younger soul doth wander
From the path that leads him onward
Gentle hands reach out to guide him;
Though the road seems never ending
T'wards the infinite ascending
All abide within the Laws.

Worlds of unimagined beauty-
Shining orbs within the heavens-
Float in majesty and order,
Never challenging, colliding,
Ever by the Laws abiding,
Each dependent on the whole.
Worlds of lesser light surround them
As the children of the mother
Bathing in the love and beauty
Emanating from her being;
All the apprehensions fleeing
From the young celestial soul.

Beings of great love and wisdom
Far beyond man's understanding
(or can any words describe them)
Guide the great galactic mansions
And the humble soul's expansion
As eternally it grows.
Substance from which all is moulded.
Substance of the One eternal,
Is supplied that all may use it
Moulded by the heart's desiring
By each soul that is aspiring
To the harvest that he sows.

Laws inviolate are provided
That the universe may function
As a great and perfect unit,
Every soul and every portion
Serving in its right proportion
Each according to its grade.
Each is free to choose his actions,
Choose the path of his ascension,
Choose his harvest by his planting:
Always are the Laws to guide him
And in justice to provide him
With what he alone has made.

Graded worlds of all dimensions
Are created, each in season
As required. Each world is seeded
In the cycle of progression
For those souls who seek expression
That the spirit may expand.
Great Archangels sit in council
Thanking the eternal Father
For the work entrusted to them;
As they take of Him and mould it
With a Vortex, they enfold it
To become another land.

Thus it was, and is recorded
In the great Akashic records
That this world came into being
To become a child of beauty
And to carry out her duty,
To fulfill an urgent need,
Younger souls evolving onward
Cradled in her arms as children
Nourished and sustained within her;
Never from her bosom fleeing
Always held within her being
As the fruit doth hold the seed.

Learning from each new achievement,
Learning from desires and errors,
Free were they to choose their actions,
Free today to choose tomorrow
To their joy or to their sorrow
By a Law extremely just.
Nor was sickness forced upon them,
No disease of mind and body
By a God who loved His children:
Seasons came and harvests flourished,
All were cared for, all were nourished
From the gardens of Earth's crust.

Man did follow in his season,
Followed other lowly creatures,
Those who trod the Earth before him:
Each was planted in its season,
Each for a specific reason
Known to those who planned it so.
For God's great yet humble Servants
Knew each being, every creature
As a soul progressing onward;
Each toward its destination
Knowing "death", and incarnation-
All the Father's, high and low.

On this planet man was given,
Over other souls, dominion,
Younger souls of other creatures
Not to kill them nor to eat them
Not enslave them or ill-treat them
Nor to raise an angry hand.
But to learn with love and wisdom
How to speak with bird or mammal.
How to live and walk beside them;
Walk with bear or lion near him
Without fear lest they should fear him
In the Gardens of his land.
